I. Purpose of the Equipment
Rail-mounted electric lifting jacks are used in railway vehicle manufacturing and repair enterprises for the maintenance and replacement of car bodies, bogies and other components of rail locomotives, rail vehicles, EMUs and other rail-bound vehicles, as well as for lifting the complete car body assembly or the entire vehicle.
Rail-mounted electric lifting jacks are not limited by vehicle types and can lift various models of vehicles, greatly improving the maintenance capacity for mixed vehicle fleets.They are suitable for railway locomotives, metro vehicles, EMUs, open-top freight wagons, flat wagons, large-scale track maintenance machinery, various special vehicles, ordinary passenger cars, air-conditioned passenger cars, mechanical refrigerated cars and other rail vehicles.
II. Functions of the Equipment
- Each group consists of four lifting jacks. During operation, the four jacks work simultaneously to lift a complete metro vehicle, EMU or its car body assembly. Any two or three groups can be connected to the main control console via PLC communication cables to realize online synchronous control.
- Each group is equipped with one electrical control cabinet, which supports switching between individual control and master control, as well as manual and automatic control modes. It can control the lifting, lowering and stopping of the four jacks.In individual control mode, each jack can be controlled separately for lifting, lowering and stopping.In automatic mode, synchronization is controlled by the CPU, realizing functions such as height presetting, zero correction, automatic height measurement, height display and balance control.
- Both levels of consoles are equipped with emergency stop devices and audible-visual alarms. When the emergency stop button on any single unit is pressed, all cooperating lifting jacks will stop at the same time.
- Any two groups of main control consoles can be connected via backup communication cables. Synchronous lifting operation of 4, 6 or 8 lifting jacks from the two groups can be realized on either main console.During 6-unit or 8-unit online operation, the system also provides automatic deviation adjustment and automatic stop & alarm in case of over-limit.
- The PLC system is equipped with height presetting function. After inputting the required lifting height, the system will perform synchronous lifting automatically and stop automatically upon reaching the preset height, realizing intelligent operation.
