Full-Electric Underfloor Wheel Lathe
The full-electric underfloor wheel lathe is a fully electric CNC machine tool without any hydraulic system, representing an innovative upgrade to the century-old hydraulic system. It is a fully automatic CNC underfloor wheel lathe.
As the friction wheel carriage is equipped with a full-electric automatic leveling and feedback system, the system is simple, responsive, energy-saving and ensures a clean working environment.It is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly product that will inevitably replace traditional hydraulic-powered underfloor wheel lathes, which feature high failure rates and poor working conditions for wheelset positioning.
2. Application of the Equipment
This equipment is used for the machining and repairing of wheel flange and tread of various types of locomotives and passenger cars without dismantling the wheelsets. It is also suitable for machining and repairing single wheelsets.
It can meet the requirements for wheelset machining of various locomotives and passenger cars with a gauge of 1435 mm and an axle load ≤ 30 tons.
3. Equipment Composition
The equipment consists of:Main structure, rail system, double-roller support device, outer axle box support device, axle box pressing device, wheelset axial positioning device, CNC system, measuring system, cutting system, drive system, automatic fault diagnosis and remote communication diagnosis system, electrical system, pneumatic system, lubrication system, chip removal and collection system, smoke and dust purification system, safety protection system, etc.
Special tools include: standard master wheels, wheel checkers, wheel diameter calipers, tread templates, etc.
4. Basic Functions
1）Capable of automatic underfloor machining of various locomotive wheels and automatic machining of single wheelsets after wheel removal.
2）Equipped with an automatic leveling function.
3）Capable of full‑dimension automatic measurement before and after wheelset machining.
4）Features a Machining Proposal function to achieve economic machining.
5）Capable of supporting and fixing the rotation center via axle box positioning.
6）Equipped with a zone machining function.
7）Equipped with performance and precision calibration functions.
8）Equipped with safety protection and working environment guarantee functions such as automatic tool retraction in case of power failure or stalling.
9）Capable of machine fault self‑diagnosis and relevant information display.
10）The system software of the CNC unit supports restoration to the original state and has data backup.
11）Equipped with automatic chip collecting, crushing and discharging functions.
12）Equipped with automatic smoke and dust collection and purification functions.
13）Complies with the railway equipment information interface specifications of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd.
